Why are guys so hard to shop for? I never know what to get any of the men in my life and according to a recent survey on Instagram Stories, the majority of people find men the hardest to shop for. Since I’m not an expert on the topic, I polled a bunch of our male family and friends. I threw away the ridiculous answers (e.g. a wife, hot twins for a twin fantasy *insert eye roll here*) and created this gift guide with the most commonly requested items. I hope this helps you figure out what to get all the men in your life!

The Ultimate Gift Guide for Men as Told By Men
1. Electric razor
An electric razor was at the top of almost every man’s list. This one has great reviews and is currently under $50!

4. Nice tool box
Another top requested! This is a pretty amazing find. It has 161 pieces + a 4.8 volt screwdriver. It’s even Bassam approved and he’s very picky about his tools.

6. Video games
You’d be surprised how many guys (of all ages!) said this one. So if you know the guy you’re shopping for plays video games, this might be a great option! Here are some of the favorites that were recommended:

7. A smart watch that does not look like a smart watch!
An Apple Watch or a Samsung watch are obvious and really good gift choices, but I thought this gift idea was brilliant. This watch is BEAUTIFUL. It functions as a smartwatch but it doesn’t look like one at all! It’s compatible with both Android and iPhone. Even Bassam loved this watch and he is majorly picky.
8. VR Headset
This is a really fun one that most of the guys requested! They also said it was major wish list! There are tons of options out there, but the one from PS4 seemed to be a popular one. Just make sure the guy you are gifting it to has a PS4! This will be a big hit and I think the guy in your life will be really impressed that you knew to get this!
9. Adjustable dumbells
Okay, this one made me laugh. But apparently this is what guys want? This is exactly why I asked instead of just creating the guide myself, I never would’ve thought of this! This set can adjust from 5 pounds to 52.2 pounds in 2.5 pound increments. Perfect for the guy who has limited space for his home gym or wants to get back into working out.
10. Flask with built in shot glass
I never knew guys cared so much about germs, but apparently as they get older, this becomes a concern. Since most guys said they don’t love flasks because they hate passing it around and getting everyone’s germs on it, I found a flask with a built-in shot glass. I went back and polled the guys and they loved it! Score! So here’s an idea that’s mine, but it’s totally guy approved!

Here’s another one of my ideas! I’m pretty proud of myself, because all the guys I asked said they would love this but didn’t know it existed. It comes with 12 sample sizes of Sephora’s most popular fragrances AND a card that the guy can redeem for a full size version of his favorite! I don’t think you can go wrong with this gift since almost every guy could use a new cologne and almost every guy is sure to find one he likes in this set!
